Boxing HoF


October 3 2014 saw the ‘Cobra’ Carl Froch appear at The Lancastrian Suite, Dunston. The Cobra retired as the WBA World and IBF super middleweight champion with a professional record of 33-2(24), and he knocked out George Groves in front of 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium (TKO2, May 2014)


September 14 2014 would see the great ‘Hands of Stone’ Roberto Duran make an appearance at the home of one of Relentless Promotions’ primary sponsors – the Grosvenor Casino, Newcastle. The legendary Panama fighter fought in five consecutive decades (1968 – 2001) finishing with a professional record of 103-16(70) and held numerous world titles fighting in a number of weight divisions



June 1 2012 saw the legendary ‘Raging Bull’ Jake LaMotta appear at The Lancastrian Suite, Dunston. The Bronx Bull fought during the forties and fifties winning the NBA World middleweight, NYSAC World middleweight, and the World middleweight titles, the latter being The Ring Magazine fight of the year in 1950. He finished his career in 1954 with a professional record of 83-9-4(30)

Football HoF 


England’s record appearance holder, and goalkeeper, Peter Shilton, appeared at The Lancastrian Suite, Dunston on June 11 2010 in aid of the NSPCC. Shilton is a veteran of three World Cups (1982, 1986 and 1990) and two European Championships in a career that spanned more than three decades. He was most successful during his spell at Nottingham Forest where he won the European Cup twice, First Division title, League Cup and Charity Shield to name a few


November 20 2014 saw a very special evening take place at the Gateshead Marriott Hotel, Gateshead as a combination of Steve Wraith, Danny Cox and Danny Mitchell put together the ‘206 Dinner’ in celebration and honour of Newcastle United and England legend, the illustrious number nine, Alan Shearer. Funds from the night were raised for the Stroke Association. Shearer joined his home-town club in the summer of ’96 for a then world record £15 million, a decade later he was the club’s all-time leading goalscorer with 206 goals

Relentless Promotions also put on their famed ‘Black & White Reunion Dinners’  and ‘The Entertainers Re-United’ 

Darts HoF 



Relentless Promotions have hosted events which have included the above legends of World Darts – Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, Eric ‘The Crafty Cockney’ Bristow and Gary ‘The Flying Scotsman’ Anderson. These have been at the International Darts Classic (August 2015), World Super Series of Darts (November 2014), SDC Darts Tour (March 2014), Tungsten on the Tyne (November 2012), PDC Darts (May 2012) which occurred at venues such as the O2 Academy in Glasgow and Newcastle and The Lancastrian Suite, Dunston

Music Hof 


March 4 2015 would see Relentless Promotions pull off a massive coup when they promoted Rock icon, Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal at the O2 Academy in Newcastle for an extraordinary evening of combined Guns n Roses and Twister sounds that didn’t disappoint


Ably supported by indie-rock band, The Longsands, Relentless Promotions brought Scottish rockers, Big Country, to Newcastle’s O2 Academy. Bruce Watson, Mark Brzezicki and company brought their unique brand of music to Tyneside on June 27 2015

Miscellaneous HoF 


September 2014 would see legendary author and ex-SAS Chris Ryan join the Relentless Promotions Hall of Fame when he appeared for an interesting night at The Customs House, South Shields. As a Sergeant, Ryan served in the first Gulf War, Sierra Leone and Zaire, being a member of the ill-fated Bravo-Two-Zero excursion into Iraq. Since he left the Armed Services Sergeant Ryan has made his living both as a security consultant and as a best-selling author of which you can find more on his official Chris Ryan Adventures website
